Privacy Policy

Tabernate is a Chrome extension built by ABLabs. We take your privacy seriously. Here's exactly what we do and don't do with your data.

What we collect

Almost nothing. Tabernate stores your saved tabs, hibernated tabs, and sessions entirely on your own device using Chrome's local storage. This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to any server.

What we don't collect

• We do not collect browsing history
• We do not track which tabs you save or visit
• We do not use analytics or tracking scripts
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties

License keys & payments

Tabernate Pro uses LemonSqueezy for payments. When you activate a license key, your key is sent to LemonSqueezy's API solely to verify it's valid. We do not store your key on any server — it is saved only in your browser's local storage. Payment details are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy and are never seen by us.

Permissions

Tabernate requests the following Chrome permissions:

• tabs — to read the current tab's title and URL when you choose to save or hibernate it
• storage — to save your tabs locally on your device
• alarms — to power the auto-hibernate feature (Pro)
• contextMenus — to add right-click options to pages
